I have a little script I run against the access logs. Because I am me, I named it bookreport. It lets me know how many of each chapter have been downloaded (and excludes the various search engines and bots that spider the site multiple times per day). I have been watching the number grow each day, and slowly accelerating each week. This morning a new milestone has been crossed: the total number of chapters downloaded passed 500. Actually it probably passed that the other day, because of the unfortunate server error.

This is a drop in the bucket, but it feels big, and I reserve the right to do the happy-dance at any minor victory.
